Dig In! Fundraiser Event Design

In 2017, I was invited to participate in Willoughby Design’s Brand Strategy workshops for Cultivate Kansas City’s brand refresh. The 2018 Dig In! event would reveal Cultivate Kansas City’s evolved brand identity system and I was selected to design the Dig In! event materials.

What’s Dig In!? It’s an annual benefit dinner, a five-course meal curated by talented local chefs, bringing together hundreds of like-minded supporters of local food, urban agriculture and healthy food access. Each year this event raises more than $100,000, providing critical funding for farmers.

My Role: Freelance Lead Designer
(Design to completion: Printed Invitation, RSVP Card, Feast Magazine print advertisement and digital advertisements; Event hero imagery graphics for social media, event landing page and email; Leveraged new brand identity elements to design event materials; Collaborated with the Cultivate KC’s Communications & Public Outreach Manager on remaining creative deliverables)
